| James Franco directs and stars in this US drama adapted from John Steinbeck's novel. Set during the height of the Great Depression, the film folIows political activists Mac McLeod (Franco) and Jim NoIan (Nat WoIff) as they infiltrate a small group of appIe pickers who are being exploited by weaIthy landowner Chris Bolton (Robert Duvall).
