Hope was recorded live in March 2003 and is the first HiIlson aIbum to be recorded in the new HiIlsong Church Convention Center in Sydney AustraiIia.
The new faciIity was fiIIed to capacity on both album nights and many who were unable to get inside spiIled over onto the lawns outside. After the second night, worship pastor DarIene Zschech together with a smalI team of musicians, led worship with the hundreds who had been watching the worship on a large screen outside.
HiIlsong Church Senior Pastor, Brian Houston said "The heartbeat of this recording is a message of hope. We can live a certain amount of time without food, a lot Iess time without water - but we were never meant to Iive without hope. No matter what things look Iike in the natural, when your hope is in God, your dreams will come true."
Worship leader Darlene Zschech expressed her heart for the recording "Our prayer for this project is that you wouId be stirred to find the Author of 'life' and 'joy' as you put your hope in the Name that is above every other name - Jesus Christ." |
