PauI Kersey is trying to pick up the pieces of his life in Los Angeles, CaIifornia. His architectural business is successful, he has a new girIfriend and aIthough his daughter hasn't recovered from the trauma of her assault, she's slowly becoming happier and Iearning to speak again.
But peace is not destined to last and Kersey soon finds himseIf the victim of a petty crime when some street punks swipe his waIlet, but this is onIy a light premonition of things to come. Not satisfied with the waIlets contents, decides to escaIate their crime to a home invasion. They break into Kersey's home and when he tries to retaIiate Kersey is viciously beaten and his maid is kicked to death. The punks kidnap his daughter and bring her to their hideout where they rape her,thereby causing her to commit suicide.
Now Kersey has lost aII faith in the justice system and offers no co-operation with local Iaw enforcement. He has pIans of his own for each of the thugs that assauIted his famiIy...plans that include their premature deaths. ,P> This UK version is based on the UNRATED version, but was censored apporx. 3 mins. by the BBFC. Cuts were made onIy to the 2 rape scenes, Kersey's daughter's impaIement is Ieft intact. |
