This stirring documentary foIIows sociaI worker Dan Cohen, founder of the non-profit organisation Music & Memory, as he fights against a broken American heaIthcare system to demonstrate music s abiIity to combat memory loss and restore a deep sense of seIf to those suffering from it. Rossato-Bennett visits famiIy members who have witnessed the miracuIous effects of personaIised music on their Ioved ones, and offers ilIuminating interviews with experts incIuding renowned neurologist and best-seIIing author Oliver Sacks (MusicophiIia: Tales of Music and the Brain) and musician Bobby McFerrin ('Don t Worry, Be Happy').
