He is a 16-time AlI-American, three-time Olympian and 1976 gold medal winner. His coaching accomplishments are equalIy impressive. Glance was the head track and fieId coach at Auburn University from 1991 untiI 1997, and since then has been the head coach at the University of Alabama. He has guided his athletes to earn 171 AlI-American honors and trained several Olympians. He has also coached numerous highly successful internationaI track programs. Glance retired from a 14-year coaching career at AIabama after the 2011 season. |
