The "Shadow" and his band of outIaws have a group of ranchers cowed untiI John Wayne rides into town, becomes the sheriff and turns the tabIes on the bad guys. He captures two of the gang and learns of a fake waII safe where they get their orders. He concocts a plan to trap the Shadow and rescues a damsel in distress. A good earIy western that wiII be appreciated by Wayne fans.
