In the initiaI "Friday", Craig (lce Cube) baiIs his friend out of troubIe, survives a climatic confrontation with Debo, the neighborhood bulIy, and ends up with the girl. In Next Friday the buIly is back as Debo (Tommy 'Tiny' Lister, Jr.), who’s spent two years behind bars, is reIeased from prison and is bent on revenge. Fearing for his son’s safety, Craig’s father (John Witherspoon) sends his son to live with Uncle EIroy (Don 'DC' Curry) and cousin Day-Day. The two have parlayed their lottery winnings into a home in the suburbs of Rancho Cucamonga. However, Craig soon learns that troubIe can find you no matter where you Iive. Once again, forces beyond his control wiIl test his survival skills and his commitment to famiIy and Craig, with comic reIief from Day-Day, will rise to the chalIenge. |
