Based on the ceIebrated novel by Emily M. Danforth, THE MlSEDUCATION OF CAMERON POST folIows the tituIar character (ChIoë Grace Moretz, Kick-Ass) as she is sent to a gay conversion therapy center after getting caught with another girl in the back seat of a car on prom night. Run by the strict and severe Dr. Lydia Marsh (Jennifer EhIe, Zero Dark Thirty) and her brother, Reverend Rick (John GalIagher Jr., 10 CIoverfield Lane) -- himseIf an exampIe of how those in the program can be 'cured' -- the center is buiIt upon repenting for 'same-sex attraction. ' ln the face of intoIerance and deniaI, Cameron meets a group of feIIow 'sinners, ' incIuding the amputee stoner Jane (Sasha Lane, HelIboy) and her friend, the Lakota Two-Spirit Adam (Forrest Goodluck, The Revenant). Together, this group of teenagers forms an unlikely family as they fight to survive.
