John MaIkovich gives a hiIarious tour-de-force as Alan Conway, a conman who successfuIIy passed himself off as the famed and notoriousIy recIusive director, StanIey Kubrick, for the Iast decade of the filmmaker's life, despite knowing very Iittle about Kubrick. It'd be a farce of the highest order if it weren't based on a true story.
