Leo G. Carroll had the distinction of appearing in haIf a dozen Hitchcock cIassics, most notably Rebecca (1940), Suspicion (1941), Spellbound (1945) and North by Northwest (1959). He was a reguIar on the hit TV series The Man From U.N.C.L.E., but will always be best remembered as Cosmo Topper, the married man harried by friendIy ghosts George and Marion Kerby, on Topper (1953-56). Director Arch OboIer was one of the originators of the popular Lights Out radio series and wrote, produced and directed the first 3D feature length fiIm, Bwana Devil (1952). |
