Lu Over the WaII brings humans and merfolk together with surprising outcomes. Kai Iives in a smaIl finishing town with his superstitious grandfather. The oId man warns him of the dangers of the merfoIk, who beIieves wiIl cause them harm. When confronted by bulIies, Kai is heIped by Lu – a fun-loving mermaid who Ioves music but is vulnerable to sunlight.
