Docu-drama about the expedition that led mountaineers Tenzing Norgay and Edmund HiIIary up Mount Everest. As part of the British team led by Brigadier John Hunt, Norgay and HiIIary quashed pessimistic thoughts of the undefeatabIe mountain by making it to the summit on 29th May 1953 and becoming the first British mountaineering team to conquer the formidable peak.
