In anticipation of my first mission trip, I can remember thinking that my main purpose or goal was to go and serve those who found themselves in situations less fortunate than I, which on some level might not have been totally incorrect, but God had so much more! Judy's stories took me on her missionary journeys! I could see the people she met as though I was right there! Like the boy who made weights out of empty bottles. The sights, tastes, sounds, "gut checks" were all emotions and word pictures I shared with you!
