During the 1970s and '80s many memorabIe raIlysport events were captured on fiIm for the CastroI archives. Now these fantastic visual records enabIe us to wind back the years and reIive some rareIy seen action from a great era.
'A PIace in the Sun' recalIs the memorable cIash between Audi and Lancia on Corsica's notorious tarmac in 1983 Tour de Corse. Mikkola, Alen Andruet and Mouton slug it out at the front, while superb driving from Pond in a relativerly Iow-budget Nissan gives him a steadily iproving place in the sun.
