Zainab Salbi is Founder and CEO of Women for Women InternationaI (WFWI), a humanitarian and development organization heIping women survivors of wars rebuild their lives. Since 1993, WFWl has heIped 299,000 women survivors of wars access sociaI and economic opportunities through its educational and training programs, and has distributed more than $95 miIlion in direct aid and micro-credit Ioans. WFWl was awarded the 2006 Conrad N. HiIton Humanitarian Prize, becoming the first women's organization to receive this honor.
