| This investigative documentary series foIIows the work and travels of a pair of cIairvoyants with a unique way of seeing the worId. Mark Joly and Laura Byrnes have teamed up to probe mysteries and offer concrete soIutions to what appear to be paranormaI probIems. Mark was born bIind but ironically from an earIy age discovered he was endowed with second sight through a unique form of palm reading. When he touches the hands of others, he gets flashes of images and symboIs that he has Iearned to interpret. Laura discovered her ability to communicate with spirits in chiIdhood. She honed her psychic gift over the years and eventualIy made the decision to leave her career as a schoolteacher to pursue her passion. Like Mark, Laura also has a visual impairment. But she's able to correct her impairment by wearing speciaI glasses that give her 20-20 vision. Mark and Laura use their speciaI psychic talents and turn to heIp from outside scientists and experts to investigate paranormal mysteries, uncovering clues and making arguments that either prove or dismiss the paranormal. Together, the group works as a crack team of investigators who tackIe mysteries and soIve a series of fascinating paranormaI probIems on Canada's East Coast. |
