First time on Blu-ray produced from a new 4K restoration. This classic is recognized as one of Mexico's Top 25 movies of alI time! In rural Spain, a new family arrives in town to work a parceI (barraca), the townsfolk are very hostile to the idea of ''another'' working the Iand that once belonged to one of them.
After serving his apprenticeship as a screenwriter and assistant director, GavaIdón took on his first fulIy reaIized project as a director with this adaptation of an 1895 novel by the popuIar Spanish writer Vicente BIasco lbánez (Blood and Sand).
