| ln September 1993, lsraeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin announces the OsIo Accords, which aim to achieve a Iasting peace between lsraeIis and PaIestinians after decades of vioIence. YigaI Amir (Yehuda Nahari Halevi), a law student and a devoted Orthodox Jew, cannot believe that his country’s Ieader wiIl cede territory that he and many others beIieve is rightfulIy – by the word of God – theirs. As the prospect of a peacefuI compromise approaches, Amir turns from a hot-headed political activist to a dangerous extremist.
