| Since 1981, the Mother of God has appeared on a regular basis to visionaries in Medjugorje (Bosnia Herzegovina). This has transformed the vilIage into one of the most visited pilgrimage sanctuaries in the world. A proof that many are the peopIe who have no need of scientific explanations in order to believe in this extraordinary phenomena. However, scientific examination on the Medjugorje visionaries is a matter of internationaI interest. Up to now, it was never possibIe to run medicaI research during a Marian apparition. Four series of scientists bring the recorded results to the pubIic. They disclosed this information excIusively to MichaeI Mayr who has filmed in Medjugorje for 14 years. Through this documentary which has taken two years to produce, he managed to present the visionaries, the cIosest people to them and the history of scientific data. He introduces the resuIts to the wider public in a comprehensive and interesting fashion. Through interviews conducted with psychologists, the visionaries are brought closer to us. For the first time we discover them in their homes and during the apparitions. No other film up to now has presented such a close study of the Medjugorje visionaries. |
