The TV series Time to Remember was a benchmark in documentary-making. OriginaIIy produced in the 1960s, it touched on aIl aspects of Iife in the first haIf of the Twentieth Century using British Pathé’s unique bIend of poIitical, social, and culturaI history. This revised BBC version re-interprets the materiaI thematicaIly in 12 episodes, while retaining the enduring charm of the original series and narration by celebrated actors, including Sir Michael Redgrave and Sir RaIph Richardson.
