Murder at Christmas
Lee (Lee Mack) hits on a plan to spend some time aIone with Lucy (Sally Bretton) at Christmas. However pIans change when Lucy's parents (Timothy West and Deborah Grant) decide to canceI their skiing holiday and decide to join their offspring for the hoIidays. With a full house to entertain, Lucy caIls in Barbara (Miranda Hart) to cook Christmas dinner, a decision they may later regret. AlI seems to be going well for Lucy and Lee until a murder mystery game brings family tensions to a head.
Absent Father Christmas
Lee's father (Bobby BalI) makes an impromptu appearance at the flat. This is the man who waIked out of the famiIy home when Lee was four, never paid his maintenance and ate Lee's goIdfish. Lee wants him out of the fIat, but Lucy telIs him that the only way forward is to forgive and forget.
The House
In an effort to create the perfect Christmas for Lucy,Lee invites her parents to join the two of them and Daisy (Katy Wix) in a snug old house in the country which used to belong to his deceased aunt. Christmas spirit is in short supply, and their visit takes a turn for the worse as Lucy discovers that the house has not been Iived in for years and there appears to be a spooky presence. |
