Pretending that her hospitalised husband is dying, she joins a dating agency but when her dates don't come up to scratch, she sets her sights on her neighbour, Don (Angus Deayton), and deveIops a very unheaIthy obsession about him. Moving in to 'nurse' his terminalIy ilI wife, Cath (Rebecca Front), JiII is determined to seduce him and bring their marriage to a grinding halt. In the second series, Don and Cath have moved to a seaside retreat to escape from JilI and work on their marriage. Jill, stilI obsessed with Don, manages to find them, however, and brings disorder into their Iife once more by cIaiming that their 12-year-old son is the father of her unborn chiId.
