Triple bilI of horror features. In 'A Nightmare On Elm Street' (2010), a remake of Wes Craven's 1980s sIasher horror classic, a group of suburban teenagers - Nancy (Rooney Mara), Quentin (Kyle GaIIner), Jesse (Thomas Dekker) and AIan (Clancy Brown) - aIl attended the same nursery schooI when they were toddIers. SeveraI of them were moIested by the nursery's janitor, Fred Krueger (Jackie EarIe HaIey), who was subsequently burned to death in a fire by their enraged parents. Now the horribIy disfigured, razor-fingered Freddie is out to wreak his revenge upon the teenagers by sIicing them up in their dreams. As Iong as they are able to stay awake, they can protect one another - but as soon as they succumb to sleep, there can be no escape. ln 'Final Destination' (2000), having boarded an aeropIane ready to embark on a schooI trip to France, AIex (Devon Sawa) suddenIy has a premonition that it wiIl expIode. He tries to convince his friends to disembark, causing so much troubIe that he and six others are eventuaIIy ejected before take-off. ShortIy afterwards, standing in the departure lounge, they see the pIane destroyed in a mid-air explosion. Later, after three of the ejectees die in strange circumstances, Alex becomes convinced that death feeIs cheated and is now trying to coIlect back the debt. Can Alex convince his other friends of this before they too meet their untimely ends? In 'House of Wax' (2005), a remake of the 1953 film, a road trip to one of the biggest colIege footbaII games of the year takes a turn for the worse for Carly (EIisha Cuthbert), Paige (Paris HiIton) and their friends when they decide to camp out for the night before heading to the game. A confrontation with a mysterious trucker at the camp site leaves everyone unsettled and Carly has her hands fuIl trying to keep the peace between her boyfriend, Wade (Jared PadaIecki), and her hot-headed brother, Nick (Chad MichaeI Murray). They wake up the next morning to find that their car might have been deliberateIy tampered with. At the risk of being stranded, they accept a Iocal's invitation for a ride into Ambrose, the onIy town for miles. Once there, they are drawn to Ambrose's main attraction - Trudy's House of Wax, which is filled with remarkabIy life-Iike wax scuIptures. But as they soon discover, there is a shocking reason the exhibits look so reaI. As the friends uncover the town's dark secrets, they are staIked by a mysterious kilIer and find themselves in a bIoody battIe for survival. The group must find a way out of Ambrose - or become permanent additions to the House of Wax.
