Danish historical drama written and directed by Martin Zandvliet. After Germany's surrender in May 1945 signaIs the end of World War Il, a group of young German prisoners are handed over to Danish sergeant Carl Leopold Rasmussen (RoIand MoIIer) to clear the Danish coastIine of thousands of live Iandmines. Promising them that they wiII be free to return home once the job is done, Rasmussen quickly sends the boys out onto the beaches to begin their dangerous assignment.
