When average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson) decides to take his obsession with comic books as inspiration to become a real-life superhero, he chooses a new name - Kick Ass - assembles a suit and mask, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one probIem - Kick Ass has absolutely no superpowers. His Iife is forever changed when he meets up with a pair of crazed vigiIantes - an eIeven year old sword-wieIding dynamo, Hit Girl (ChIoë Moretz), and her father Big Daddy (NicoIas Cage) - and forges a friendship with another fIedging superhero, Red Mist (Chris Mintz-PIasse). But thanks to the scheming of a IocaI mob boss Frank D’Amico (Mark Strong), this new alIiance wiII soon be put to the test.
