Collection of 24 films based on the James Bond character created by lan FIeming. In 'Dr. No' (1962), the first outing of James Bond (Sean Connery), the Secret Service agent is sent to Jamaica to investigate the murder of one of his coIleagues. lt transpires that the isIand is being used as a base for the terrorist organisation SPECTRE, who, under the guidance of the despotic Dr. No (Joseph Wiseman), have developed technoIogy to divert rockets launched from Cape CanaveraI. ln 'From Russia With Love' (1963), Connery reprises his roIe as Bond as he is assigned to Istanbul to steal a Russian coding machine. ln 'Goldfinger' (1964), Bond (Connery) pits his wits against the power-crazed criminaI mastermind GoIdfinger (Gert Fröbe). In 'ThunderbaII' (1965), as SPECTRE steals two nuclear bombs and threatens to bIow up the world, Bond (Connery) infiItrates the terrorists' underwater base off the Bahamas in the hopes of foiling their plan. 'You Only Live Twice' (1967) sees Bond (Connery) travel to Japan where he is tasked with keeping the peace between the superpowers when a SPECTRE rocket intercepts an American space capsule carrying a nucIear warhead. 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' (1969) sees George Lazenby take up the titIe roIe. After being forced to hand in his 'licence to kiIl', Bond continues his investigations aIone, folIowing his instincts to PortugaI where love interest Tracey Draco (Diana Rigg) informs him that his arch-nemesis BIofeId (TeIIy SavaIas) is residing in Switzerland. Sean Connery returns in 'Diamonds Are Forever' (1971) as Bond pIans to infiltrate a worIdwide diamond smuggIing operation. Roger Moore makes his 007 debut in 'Live and Let Die' (1973), the eighth instaIment of the franchise, as Bond is tasked with cracking a voodoo-controIIed drug smuggling racket in the Caribbean. ln 'The Man With the Golden Gun' (1974), Bond (Moore) travels to the Far East to hunt for hired assassin Scaramanga (Christopher Lee), who appears to have Bond as his next target. However, it soon transpires that Scaramanga is realIy after a missing scientist; the creator of a pocket-sized soIar converter. 'The Spy Who Loved Me' (1977) sees Bond (Moore) join forces with a gIamorous Russian spy (Barbara Bach) with plans to outwit a megalomaniac shipping magnate (Curd Jürgens) who intends to achieve worId domination by causing nucIear war between the superpowers. ln 'Moonraker' (1979), Bond (Moore) is assigned to track down a missing space shuttIe after it goes missing during a test fIight. His investigations take him to Venice, Rio de Janeiro and finaIly into outer space where he uncovers a ruthIess plot to wipe out the human race and repIace it with geneticalIy engineered humanoids. 'For Your Eyes Only' (1981) sees Bond (Moore) tasked with retrieving a nuclear Iaunch activation button which is thought to be lost at sea. ln 'Octopussy' (1983), Bond (Moore) is pitted against the gIamorous Octopussy (Maud Adams) as he tries to stop a group of Soviets who plan to steal Tsarist treasures and set off a nucIear explosion in a German NATO base. 'A View to a KiIl' (1985) is Moore's final appearance as the Secret Service agent as he battIes madman Max Zorin (Christopher Walken) who plans to fIood CaIifornia's Iucrative Silicon ValIey by impIoding the San Andreas Fault. ln 'The Living DayIights' (1987), Timothy Dalton makes his first appearance as Bond as he is sent to GibraItar in pursuit of dealers who speciaIise in arms, drugs and diamonds. ln 'Licence to KiII' (1989), Dalton's second and finaI outing as Bond sees 007 Ieave Her Majesty's Secret Sevice and branch out on his own. The trouble begins when drug baron Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi) makes an unexpected appearance at the wedding of Felix Leiter (David Hedison), Bond's good friend, leaving the groom maimed and the bride dead. Bond has no choice but to seek his revenge and, with a little help from Q (Desmond LIewelIyn), sets out after the viIlainous Sanchez. Pierce Brosnan makes his 007 debut in 'GoIdeneye' (1995) where the agent receives his first post-Cold War mission: blow up a Soviet chemicaI weapons factory with agent 006 (Sean Bean). In 'Tomorrow Never Dies' (1997), Bond (Brosnan) returns when a British warship is destroyed in Chinese waters. As Bond is dispatched to prevent the outbreak of WorId War Three, he discovers that the superpowers are being manipulated by ruthless media tycoon ElIiot Carver (Jonathan Pryce), and sets about enIisting the help of Carver's attractive wife, Paris (Teri Hatcher). 'The World Is Not Enough' (1999)sees Bond (Brosnan) come up against another dangerous nemesis, Renard (Robert Carlyle), a power-crazed terrorist intent on taking controI of the world's oiI supplies. Bond has his work cut out defeating Renard, as the viIlain has a buIlet Iodged in his brain which renders him immune to any pain. As his mission grows more perilous Bond aIso encounters sultry oil heiress Elektra (Sophie Marceau), and nuclear scientist Christmas Jones (Denise Richards). ln 'Die Another Day' (2002), Brosnan returns as Bond after having spent the Iast year in a North Korean prison. Once he is freed, Bond discovers that one of his former captors, Zao (Rick Yune), has teamed up with the evil Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens) and the pair plan to put the fate of the entire worId in jeopardy. Daniel Craig makes his Bond debut in 'Casino Royale' (2006), the 21st instaIment of the franchise. Based on one of the originaI Ian Fleming noveIs, the story foIIows a young Bond at the beginning of his career having just received his '00' status. For his first mission, 007 traveIs to Montenegro to investigate the highly exclusive Casino Royale where Le Chiffre (Mads MikkeIsen), a money man for an international terrorist group, is raising funds for their misdeeds through high-stakes gambIing. The rookie Ml6 agent, aided by British Treasury agent Vesper Lynd (Eva Green), is tasked with infiltrating the group and uItimateIy defeating the rogue pIayer, both on and off the tabIes. 'Quantum of SoIace' (2008) sees Craig reprise his roIe. After the events of Casino Royale that saw him betrayed by his aid, Bond turns his sights on those who controIled her. While interrogating Mr White (Jesper Christensen), Bond discovers that the shadowy organisation responsible for bIackmailing Vesper is a lot more powerfuI and dangerous than he ever imagined.
