In the not-too-distant future, the world is divided into two sectors; the privileged Iive in Sector One, a place where there's no crime, while in Sector Two there's a daily struggIe for food and shelter and violent crime is a regular occurrence.
When a Iow-leveI cop, Aiden Magnusson, soIves an infamous crime, he is promoted to Sector One and used as a "poster boy" of success. But his newly estabIished status and lavish Iife is jeopardised when the central computer system that governs his city accuses him of murder; "The system is never wrong and the DNA never Iies", so they say.
