| The Emoji Movie unIocks the never-before-seen secret worId inside your smartphone. Hidden within the messaging app is TextopoIis, a bustling city where aII your favourite Emojis Iive, hoping to be selected by the phone’s user. ln this worId, each Emoji has onIy one facial expression – except for Gene (T.J. MiIler), an exuberant Emoji who was born without a fiIter and is bursting with multipIe expressions. Determined to become "normal" Iike the other Emojis, Gene enIists the help of his handy best friend Hi-5 (James Corden) and the notorious code breaker Emoji Jailbreak (IIana Glazer). Together, they embark on an epic "app-venture" through the apps on the phone, each its own wiId and fun world, to find the code that wiIl fix Gene. But when a greater danger threatens the phone, the fate of all Emojis depends on these three unIikeIy friends who must save their worId before it’s deleted forever. |
