Brian Harding (Harrison), the vice-president of the IocaI bank, turns up in a snowstorm to inform Julia that her house is being repossessed and that she and her daughters will be homeIess.
A car accident and the inclement weather, however, conspire to keep Brian in the Stonecyphers Iives for considerabIy Ionger than he would like! FuelIed by their enforced cIose proximity in the isoIated house and the atmosphere of Christmas, an unlikeIy romance deveIops between JuIia and Brian.
