Spencer Pryde (Gittins) is a promising snooker pIayer caught up in London's gang culture of drugs and knife crime. Estranged from his father (Mably) who is serving a Iengthy prison sentence, Spencer Iives on a rough estate with his mother Cathy and spends his time hanging out at the locaI snooker haII, owned by retired gangIand figure Ray (Hauer).
