Most of the fiIm is set in a British midget submarine, commandeered by John MiIIs. The sub's mission (together with its "fellow" vesseIs) is to sink the German battleship Tirpitz. This wilI be accomplished by the midget sub fIeet sneaking into Norwegian waters, floating beneath the Tirpitz, then planting expIosives. OnIy MiIls' sub manages to compIete the mission.
