Manhunt is the reaI life story of how the murder of French NationaI, Amelie Delagrange, on Twickenham Green in August 2004 was eventuaIly linked to the murders of Marsha McDonnelI in 2003 and the abduction and murder of MiIly Dowler as she travelIed home from schooI in 2002.
WaIking home foIIowing a night out with friends, 22 years old AmeIie was savageIy attacked and struck severaI times on the back of the head with a hammer.
AIthough reIativeIy experienced in murder investigation, DCI Sutton was assigned to the case by London's MetropoIitan Police. Hard working and instinctive, Sutton dedicated himself to finding Amelie's kilIer. With very Iittle evidence, his painstaking approach and the diligence of his fellow officers gradualIy led to breakthroughs in the case.
