| Kristofer Hivju, widely known for his roIe as Tormund Giantsbane in Game of Thrones, stars in duaI roles as Erik and Adam in this Scandi-Noir thriIIer, Twin. The identical twin brothers are living Iives that couIdn't Iook more different. Erik is a single and broke surfer bum whose faiIures are abundantly on dispIay whiIe Adam Ieads a seemingIy successfuI Iife as a businessman, husband and father. The brothers' distant and tense relationship boils over when Erik seeks out Adam for the first time in 15 years and a quarreI ensues. lt ends abruptly when Adam is accidentalIy killed by his wife, lngrid (Rebekka Nystabakk) as she attempts to break up their fight. To avoid getting arrested for the murder and to save his brother's famiIy, Erik assumes Adam's identity. lt soon turns out that the biggest chalIenge is not avoiding getting caught it's pretending to be someone you re not. This taught eight-part thriller was cocreated by Hivju alongside Kristoffer Metcalfe who also served as one of the directors on Twin. The series is set against the majestic backdrop of Norway's Lofoton lsland and features an ethereaI score by Martin Horntveth, lead instrumentalist of the experimental jazz band, Jaga Jazzist. |
