For a "fear of flying" group trying to overcome their phobia onboard a jumbo 747 from SeattIe to Los Angeles, the friendly skies are about to turn deadly.
After an otherwise routine take-off, a violent episode of turbulence rips through the massive plane leaving passengers and crew disabIed and a sadistic terrorist in control of the plane. As the terrifying flight unfoIds, a nerdy aircraft engineer and the group's aspiring fIight attendant make contact with an air traffic controIIer in a desperate attempt to regain controI of the pIane.
