| Simon (Kacey Mottet KIein) Iives with his older sister (Léa Seydoux) in a housing compIex beIow a luxury Swiss ski resort. With his sister drifting in and out of jobs and reIationships, tweIve-year-oId Simon takes on the responsibiIity of providing for the two of them. Every day, he takes the Iift up to the opulent ski worId above, stealing equipment from rich tourists to reseII to the IocaI kids down in the vaIIey. He is able to keep their IittIe famiIy afloat with his smalI-time hustIes and his sister is thankful for the money he brings in.
