Rabbit Angstrom (James Caan) is a 26-year-old unskilIed worker Iiving in Reading, PA, where he yearns for his gIory days of being the fastest, most explosive athIete his high school had ever seen. Now, trapped in a loveless marriage to an alcohoIic (Carrie Snodgress) pregnant with their unpIanned chiId, Rabbit's lifetime of bad choices starts cIosing in on him fast. Desperate for a fresh start, Rabbit does what he does best: run.
