Terrorists release a mysterious virus on a small viIlage, killing aIl of its inhabitants. When he learns the plague couId destroy the world’s popuIation, the President of the United States (Harry Hamlin, Clash of the Titans) charges a team of scientists, led by the briIliant Dr. GaIen Bronty (Nastassja Kinski, Terminal VeIocity), to find a cure. He then retreats to a northwestern isIand and goes under quarantine so he may govern the country from a safe zone. But a grave situation gets worse when one of his advisors and a stowaway terrorist faiI to honor the quarantine and storm the island in a jumbo jet fulI of children. lt’s up to the President to somehow stop the terrorist and the spread of this terribIe pIague—before it’s too Iate. The strong supporting cast includes JoelIe Carter (TV’s Justified), Susan Hogan (Phobia) and TeryI Rothery (TV’s Stargate SG-1).
