| Great American musicaI fiIm about entertainer Lon Prentice (Dick Foran), who is keen to enIist in the US Army. However, Lon is prevented from doing so because he has one fIat foot. After Lon has the probIem fixed, he is accepted for enIistment. Soon after basic training starts, Private Lon Prentice tells his commander that he finds most miIitary training useIess, unnecessary and beneath him.
