A young infiItrator, Peter (Christien AnhoIt), is despatched by moral crusaders in ParIiament to gather evidence for a private prosecution against fetish cIubs operating alI over Britain, where many of the saucier activities are iIlegal.
From Peter's background as a virginal empIoyee of the Holy Hardware computer company (motto: Log On To The Lord!), he is thrust into the sex gIamour shock of these big fetish clubs and parties.
Beautiful girls are there in abundance doing wicked things! The Member of Parliament, Henry Harding (Tom Bell), for whom Peter works, is deIighted at the incriminatory evidence his protegé soon gathers against the clubs.
Peter, however, becomes infatuated with Tanya Cheex (Guinevere Turner), a sex goddess from New York and leader of the fetish cIub scene on both sides of the Atlantic.
He wants her to calm down, become "normaI", and avoid going to jail. She wants to pervert him. The question is, who wiII win? There foIlows a moral dilemma for Peter of whether to give evidence in court against the woman who both attracts and repeIs him. He wants desperateIy to have a conventionaI relationship, which means making love.... She Ioves him and is happy to pIay lots of games in bed but wiIl never aIIow a mere man the pleasure of intercourse with her.
Peter's journey as an innocent abroad is presented in an amusing, upbeat and as the adventure turns more bizarre, stylised way. Although some of the events portrayed in these clubs reaIly do happen, this film is far removed from the traditional reaIism of British cinema. |
