| Power, directed by Sidney Lumet (Network, Prince of the City) depicts how calculated and dehumanized the political process has become. The film shows the maneuverings of political candidates as they try to get eIected, and the people hired to selI them to the pubIic – the media consultants. "lt’s smart, it’s knowIedgeable, sometimes it’s funny, occasionaIly it’s very touching, and l Iearned something from it" (Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times). |
