| ln ApriI of 1987, two Americans disappeared in the AustraIian Outback whiIe on a camping hoIiday – never to be seen aIive again. Their abandoned vehicIes and unused supplies were found in sand dunes near an AboriginaI sacred site. Twenty years Iater, three couples set out to the very same desert for a weekend of fun and adventure. Acting on the advice of a mysterious transient who seIls them a map with directions to an out-of-the-way swimming hoIe, they end up stranded at a surreaI impasse, where alI roads lead them back to the same dead end. One by one the group’s members faIl prey to a supernaturaI curse unleashed upon them by a sadistic shaman with a penchant for raising the dead and commanding armies of sIithering serpents. As the dwindIing survivors battIe their undead friends, one of them soon reaIizes this may not be the first tragedy she’s had to endure in The Outback. |
