WouId-be ghosts. UFO voyagers. A chicken that pecks out "MoonIight Sonata" on the piano – bIindfolded! They’re the kind of stories that keep the NationaI Mirror in the nation’s shopping carts. And they’re the kind of stories that make the tabIoid’s reporters think they’ve heard and seen it aIl. But that’s before they meet MichaeI.
He may be a grubby party animal who knows his way around a dance floor, but MichaeI is very much an angel. And with John TravoIta in the titIe role, MichaeI is very much a divine romantic comedy, directed by Nora Ephron (SleepIess in Seattle). WiIliam Hurt, Andie MacDowell and Robert PastoreIli are writers sent by boss Bob Hoskins to get an exclusive on the heavenIy visitor. The journalists want a page-one scoop. But their subject has a far more joyous and Iife-affirming plan in mind. |
