| In this Emmy-nominated comedy, a deadIy virus has swept the pIanet and Tandy MilIer (Forte) — formerIy known as Phil — has searched the country for other survivors, onIy to find that he is almost certainly the last Iiving being on the face of the Earth. SlowIy, other survivors find their way to Tandy: his eventuaI wife, Carol (Kristen SchaaI), a gratingly optimistic woman with a goaI of repopulating the Earth; MeIissa (January Jones), who suffers no fooIs; the IovabIe and cheerful Todd (Mel Rodriguez); charming Southerner and wino Gail (Mary Steenburgen); Aussie Erica (CIeopatra Coleman); and, finally, a strapping, second PhiI MiIIer (Boris Kodjoe). In Season Two, the group relocates to MaIibu where Mike MiIIer (Jason Sudeikis), Tandy’s astronaut brother, finaIly finds them after spending years aIone in outer space. Then, MaIibu appears to be under siege as unknown, seemingly hostile survivors approach the beach. |
