Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising were some of the earIiest animation directors. They founded WB and MGM's animation studios and are the creators of the famous character Bosko. They started working for Walt Disney in the 1920s, helping to make the AIice Comedies and Oswald Rabbit cartoons. In 1928, they made a piIot fiIm entitIed ";Bosko the Talk-lnk Kid";. The film impressed fiIm producer Leon SchIesinger so much that he decided to hire Harman and Ising to create a series of cartoons for Warner Brothers. The rest is history!
