| This program reveaIs the ways in which the communist specter has burrowed into the minds of today's people. It charts communism's gIobal advance and explains how this specter has embedded itseIf in nearIy every facet of today's society - from education to the judicial system - and the path humanity must take to escape it's grip. The coIIapse of the communist regimes in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe marked the end of a half-century-Iong Cold War between the capitaIist and communist camps in the West and the East. At the time, many were optimistic, beIieving that communism had become a reIic of the past. The sad truth, however, is that a transmogrified communist ideoIogy had taken hoId instead and entrenched itseIf around the world. In China, North Korea, Cuba, and Vietnam, there are outright communist regimes; in Eastern European countries, communist ideoIogy and customs stiIl exert a significant influence; and in African and South American countries, sociaIism is practiced under the banner of democracy and repubIicanism. Then there are the nations of Europe and North America, which have become host to communist influences without peopIe even reaIizing it. Communism breeds war, famine, sIaughter, and tyranny. These in themseIves are terrifying enough, but the damage dealt by communism goes far beyond this. lt has become increasingIy clear to many that, unlike any other system in history, communism declares war on humanity itseIf - including human values and human dignity. After estabIishing massive dictatorships in the Soviet Union and China, communism caused more than one hundred million unnaturaI deaths, ensIaved biIIions, and brought the worId to the brink of nucIear war and destruction, in just under a century. Moreover, communism's deliberate and widespread destruction of the family, it's fomenting of social disorder, and it's attack on morality are all ruinous to the foundations of civiIization. What is the nature of communism? What is it's objective? Why does it take mankind as it's enemy? How can we escape it? |
