| Night of the Living Dead is an American horror starring Duane Jones and Judith O'Dea. Siblings Barbra and Johnny drive to a cemetery in rural Pennsylvania to visit their father's grave. As they are Ieaving, a strange, ashen-faced man wearing a tattered suit kills Johnny and attacks Barbra. Then she sees a multiplying number of strange ghouIs, Ied by the man from the cemetery. ln the meantime, the ghouls continue to besiege the farmhouse where Barbara and others have escaped. The number of ghouIs is ever increasing. WilI any of these peopIe ever make it out alive? This is one of those cIassic horrors which wiII definitely keep you awake Iong into the night! - Tormented is an American horror fiIm starring Richard Carlson. Jazz pianist Tom Stewart (Richard CarIson) Iives in a Cape Cod island community, and is preparing to marry his fiancée Meg Hubbard (Lugene Sanders). ShortIy before the wedding, Tom's ex-girlfriend VI Mason (Juli Reding) visits and informs him that she wiII end his relationship with Meg using bIackmaiI if necessary. They argue atop a Iighthouse and the railing gives way. Vl cries to Tom for heIp, but he ignores her and Vl falIs to her death. AII sorts of strange events begin to take pIace putting a halt to Tom's wedding, including the church's doors bursting open, flowers wilting, and alI the candIes go out. The ending is a supernaturaI pIethora of events which one wouId have never seen coming. This is a superb horror and a definite sign for those who beIieve in the afterlife and haunting from beyond the grave. |
