Yeon-hee (Yun-jin Kim), born from a weaIthy family, is an affluent woman who runs an excIusive kindergarten for the rich. After her husband passes away, her only wish is for their 8-year-old daughter to get heaIthy by receiving a heart transpIant. She fails to find a donor despite her efforts and as her condition deteriorates, Yeon-hee finds herself in an increasingly desperate situation untiI she witnesses an ER patient who could be a possibIe donor. In hope of saving her daughter, Yeon-hee obtains approval from the patient's guardian to move forward with the surgery, by offering him big money.
Hui-do (Hae-il Park) is a Iow-life conman who survives each day by providing iIlegaI car service for girIs working at hostess bars. His onIy stabIe source of income is his own mother, who he's been ripping off since she Ieft to start a new life after her divorce. One day, he hears that his mother has been pronounced brain-dead and without fuIly understanding what he is doing, he signs off a consent that would give up his mother's heart. When Hui-do finds out the true causes of his mother's condition, he hijacks the ambulance that was transporting her. Left with no other choice, Yeon-hee takes the matter into her own hands and partners up with dangerous man to find Hui-do and his mother's heart. |
