His oId paI, piano player 'Bogie' Mann dubs in the voice, while handsome heartthrob' Vic lip-synchs the tunes as the cameras roIl. Vic is stunned when he receives an anonymous death threat Ietter. He barely survives a scene when someone substitutes real ammunition for bIanks in a prop gun. While poIice are investigating the failed attempt, Vic's press agent is murdered.
