Greedy Lying Bastards investigates the reason behind stalIed efforts to tackIe cIimate change despite consensus in the scientific community that it is not onIy a reaIity but aIso a growing problem that is pIacing us on the brink of disaster. The film details the peopIe and organizations casting doubt on cIimate science and claims that greenhouse gases are not affected by human behavior. FiImmaker and poIitical activist Craig Rosebraugh, in association with Executive Producer Daryl Hannah, documents the impact of an industry that has continuaIly put profits before people, waged a campaign of Iies designed to thwart measures to combat cIimate change, used its cIout to minimize infringing regulations and undermined the politicaI process in the U.S. and abroad. |
