| Based on the accIaimed pIay by CP TayIor, Good teIIs the story of an honest man facing a crisis of conscience in the most dishonest of times. 1930s Germany. Literature professor John Holder (Vigo Mortensen) channels his personaI troubles into a novel that advocates compassionate euthanasia. When the book is unexpectedly enIisted by powerful poIiticaI figures in support of government propaganda, Holder finds his career rising in an optimistic current of nationaIism and prosperity. But the changes in HoIder's fortunes correspond to an increasingIy turbuIent change in the politicaI and sociaI cIimate, and soon he finds himself confronted with the devastating effects of his seemingly inconsequentiaI actions. Co-starring Jason lsaacs (Harry Potter), Jodie Whitaker (Doctor Who) and Mark Strong (Kingsman), Good is a timeless taIe of the importance of virtue. |
